چکیده
This paper deals with the Optical connections with FPGAs are possible. Here Flow routing method with wavelength conversion is studied, discussed, analyzed and simulated in VHDL Language. The function of the proposed circuit is to reduce the amount of corrupted flows for the first time. With the emergence of new broadband telecommunication services and constantly increasing bandwidth demand, fixed access network infrastructure is evolving from electrical to optical. This paper presents a novel routing and switching method for optical IP networks— flow routing. Without using a complicate control mechanism ,flow routing deals with packet-flows with wavelength conversion to reduce the amount of corrupted flows .Additionally , there is no path set up, data is sent once the flow is generated, eliminating the delay associated with the path set up in circuit switching.

متن کاملA Novel Protection Guaranteed, Quality of Transmission Aware Routing and Wavelength Assignment Algorithm for All-optical Networks
Transparent All Optical Networks carry huge traffic and any link failure can cause the loss of gigabits of data; hence protection and its guarantee becomes necessary at the time of failure. Many protection schemes were presented in the literature, but none of them speaks about protection guarantee. Also, in all optical networks, due to absence of regeneration capabilities, the physical layer i...

We consider an optical networking architecture with each node consisting of an electronic router (to model Internet Protocol [IP] functionality) overlaying optical crossconnect (OXC), with optical add/drop multiplexers (ADM) interfacing the optical and electronic layers, as depicted in Figure 1. Nodes are interconnected with optical fiber links, and the graph representation of these interconnec...

We developed an optical transceiver diode (TRAD) module for bi-directional time-compression-multiplexing (TCM) transmission systems. A wavelength-insensitive structure as a receiver and a low-capacitance configuration in the module provide a high sensitivity. Stable switching of 156 Mbit/s NRZ burst signals between the transmitter and receiver modes is achieved. In addition, it is shown that op...
متن کاملOptimal Routing Based on Super Topology in Hypercube WDM Networks
Traditionally the routing in passive optical networks is based on an embedded regular virtual topology. However one important fact that has been neglected in the past is that the wavelength assignment to transceivers actually creates additional (logical) links not present in the virtual topology. Such side e ect can be utilized to signi cantly reduce the number of hops between a pair of station...
